All Party Kit equipment is owned by and remains the property of Frome Eco Party Kit.
Payment of a refundable deposit is required before your booking can be confirmed.
You may cancel the booking at any time prior to 7 days before the start date of your hire. A cancellation charge of 50% of the deposit will be due should you cancel within 7 days. The full deposit will be kept if cancelled within 24 hours of agreed delivery/collection.
In the unlikely event that we are unable to fulfil your booking due to circumstances beyond our control Frome Eco Party Kit liability is limited to the refund of all monies paid.
You are responsible for the Party Kit equipment for the duration of the hire period and adequate care should be taken, especially for items that can be easily damaged such as table linen and paper decorations.
Metal cutlery must not be used on the plastic partyware as can cause excessive damage. Plastic cutlery can be hired from us.
Kit items must not be used to heat food, placed in a microwave or oven.
No responsibility can be accepted for an injury which occurs during the use of the Party Kit equipment. (Please note that Pass-the-Parcel Bags are not a toy, and as such should not be used by children without adult supervision.)
All Party Kit equipment is washed in a domestic kitchens/dishwashers where allergens may be present. If you have any concerns about allergen contaminants please wash equipment prior to use.
The Party Kit should be returned within 36 hours of the hire start date unless otherwise agreed in writing.
You will be eligible for a full refund of the paid deposit when the Party Kit has been returned on time, complete and undamaged.
No credit or refund will be issued for any Party Kit equipment which is returned unused.
You are responsible for any breakages, non-repairable damage or loss of Party Kit equipment. Replacements will be charged at the purchase price of the new equipment item(s).
The quantity and condition of equipment, in the absence of definite proof to the contrary, is as seen by the Frome Eco Party Kit upon receipt of the returned kit.
- Bank Transfer
A security deposit is taken at the time of booking, these vary in price depending on what you're hiring:
Tableware Kit - £5 deposit
Pass the Parcel - £10 deposit
Themed Party Kits - £20 deposit
Other items without hiring a kit - £5 deposit
Once the kit/game is bought back clean, dry and intact I refund you the deposit. If there are any items that are missing or broken I retain some or all of the deposit depending on the item, this is as follows (price per item missing/damaged) :
Plates/cups/bowls/cutlery: 25p each
Food Platters: £2 each
Jugs: £3 each
Pass the Parcel: £1 per envelope damaged or missing
Hot Water Urn: £5
Decorations: between £5 - £20 depending on the item and level of damage
product care and safety
All products can be washed in a dishwasher up to 70 degrees Celcius.
Whilst the cups can withstand hot drinks we would advise against it as they will be too hot to safely hold.
We recommend using mugs with the hot water urn which most venues have in their kitchens or you can hire from Share: Frome
If using a dishwasher they won't completely dry on their own so we recommend going over them with a tea towel to ensure they are dry.
These kits have been used by other customers before, and whilst we have vigorous checks in place for cleanliness there is a very small chance that allergens could still be present. Kits are hired at your own risk in regards to this, but as we say, the risk is very small.
Any personal information that you give us by making an enquiry or booking is protected.
We keep contact details for up to 30 days after your hire ends and then it is deleted from our records unless you have stated you are happy to be on our mailing list. You are free to request removal from our mailing list at any time.
